Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival at Bangla Sahib

09:30am-11:30am - On your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi our representative will greet you and we will head towards your accommodation

11:30am-12:00pm - Travel to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

12:00pm-13:15pm- Arrive at your accommodation

13:15pm-14:15pm - Lunch: Enjoy the hot delicious langar at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Experience the Sikh tradition of serving free meals to everyone, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion. The langar is a symbol of equality and unity.

We will partake in minimum of 10 min sewa (e.g. dish cleaning, floor cleaning, langar distribution)

14:15pm-15:40pm - Walk over to the sarovar at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and do Ishnan at the holy sarovar. Tour of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

You will do either 1 Chaupai Sahib or 5 min Waheguru Jaap inside the darbar.

15:40pm-18:00pm - Free time to relax or explore around the local shops and street food stalls in Delhi.

18:00pm-19:30pm - We will sit inside the darbar for Rehras Sahib (evening prayers) and listen to some blissful kirtan of the shabad being played

19:30pm-20:45pm - Dinner: Enjoy an evening dinner at United Coffee House

21:00pm - Return to your accommodation to retire for the day at your leisure.

Day 2 Visit Local Historical Gurdwaras (Delhi)

06:00am-07:00am - Breakfast: Langar at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

07:00am-08:45am- Tour of Gurdwara Damdama Sahib

08:45am-10:00am- Tour of Gurdwara Sri Bala Sahib Ji

10:00am-12:00pm- Tour of Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib Ji. We will be doing ishnan here. If for any reason you can't you may do panj ishnana.

12:00pm-13:00pm- Lunch: Langar at Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib Ji

13:00pm-15:20pm- Tour of Gurdwara Sri Majnu Ka Tilla Sahib

15:20pm-16:45pm- Tour of Gurdwara Nanak Piao Sahib

16:45pm-18:35pm- Tour of Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib

18:35pm-19:00pm- Travel back to your accommodation

19:00pm-onwards- Free time. You can choose to do dinner at the Gurdwara or experience the local Delhi food.

Day 3 Travel to Amritsar

07:30am-08:30am - Darshan at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

08:30am-09:30am - Breakfast: Langar at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

09:30am-10:30am- Check out from your accommodation

10:30am-12:20pm- Tour of Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib. You will do either 1 Chaupai Sahib or 5 min Waheguru Jaap inside the darbar

12:20pm-13:20pm- Lunch: Langar at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib. You will partake in minimum of 10 min sewa (e.g. dish cleaning, floor cleaning, langar distribution)

14:20pm-14:45pm- Travel to Train Station (Old Delhi)

14:45pm-20:45pm- Board Vanda Bharat Train to Amritsar (dinner will be included).

20:45pm- 21:15pm- Travel to your accommodation

21:15pm- Check-in to your accommodation and retire for the day at your leisure.

Day 4 Visit Local Historical Gurdwaras (Amritsar)

04:00am-07:00am - We will be waking up in the ambrosial hours (amrit-vela) to witness the sacred departure of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Palki Sahib from Sri Akal Takhat Sahib to Sri Harmandir Sahib. Then take the opportunity to bathe in the holy scared water (sarovar) and hear the morning prayers (nitnem) whilst sitting inside Sri Harmandir Sahib.

07:00am-08:20am - Walk over to the langar hall for a delicious meal in the langar. You will partake in minimum of 15 min sewa (e.g. dish cleaning, floor cleaning, langar distribution) 

08:20am-08:35am - Walk back to your accommodation

08:35am-11:00am - A short power nap may be required to help restore your energies for the rest of the tour.

11:00am-12:20am - Tour of Jallianwala Bagh

12:20pm-13:45pm - Tour to the Central Sikh Museum

13:45pm-15:30pm - Walk over to Bharawan Da Dhaba for the famous mouthwatering Amritsari Kulchas that leave you craving for more

15:30pm-18:00pm - Enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore Amritsar independently. You may want to:
-Sit inside Sri Harmandir sahib or by the sarovar and enjoy more of the beauty, tranquility and blissful kirtan
-Spend some time doing joreha di seva at the jorah ghar
-Endulge in some shopping through the Amritsar famous markets where you will be spoilt for choice

18:00pm-20:30pm - Travel to Sarhad Restaurant for a lavish dinner near the famous Wagah Border

20:30pm-21:50pm - Travel back to your accommodation and relax for the night.

Day 5 Departure

03:00am-05:15am- Darshan at Sri Harmandir Sahib & Sri Akal Takhat.

16:00pm- Departure to your onward destination.
